Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ADPexpert website at www.adpexpert.co.uk ("the Service") operated by ADPexpert ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service or purchasing any of our products, you agree to these Terms.

1. What We Provide

ADPexpert provides personalised guidance to help you describe your health conditions on Adult Disability Payment (ADP) forms. Our products include:

All prices are one-off payments in GBP. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

2. Important Disclaimer

ADPexpert provides guidance only and does not constitute legal, medical or benefits advice. We are not a law firm, not a registered charity and not affiliated with Social Security Scotland.

Our guidance is based on The Disability Assistance for Working Age People (Scotland) Regulations 2022 (SSI 2022/54) and publicly available assessment criteria. However, we cannot guarantee any particular outcome for your ADP claim. The determination on your ADP entitlement rests solely with Social Security Scotland.

If you need formal legal advice about your ADP claim, we recommend contacting Citizens Advice, a welfare rights adviser or a solicitor specialising in benefits law.

3. How Our Service Works

You provide information about your health conditions and how they affect your daily life. This information is processed by our system to generate personalised guidance matched to the official ADP descriptor framework.

Your report is generated instantly after payment and can be downloaded as a PDF. The guidance is unique to the information you provide.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

5. Payment and Delivery

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Upon successful payment, your report is generated and made available for download immediately.

6. Refund Policy

Because our reports are personalised digital products generated instantly upon purchase, we are unable to offer refunds once a report has been generated and made available to you. This is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which allow an exception to the 14-day cooling-off period for digital content that has been accessed.

However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your report (e.g. payment taken but report not generated), please contact us at support@adpexpert.co.uk and we will resolve the issue or provide a full refund.

7. Data and Privacy

The health information you provide is special category personal data under Article 9 UK GDPR. We process it under Article 9(2)(a) - explicit consent - which you give by ticking the consent box before generating a report. The input you submit (conditions and description) is not retained on our application servers after the report is generated. Generated reports delivered by email remain in our Zoho mailbox until you ask us to delete them. You can withdraw consent or request deletion at any time by emailing support@adpexpert.co.uk.

For full details on data controller, third-party processors, cookies, your UK GDPR rights and ICO complaint route, please read our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The ADPexpert website, branding and underlying technology are our intellectual property. Your generated report is for your personal use in connection with your ADP claim. You may share it with advisers, support workers or family members helping you with your claim.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

12. Contact Us
